THE UK LEG OF THE MASERATI INTERNATIONAL POLO TOUR IN COLLABORATION WITH LA MARTINA<\/strong><\/p>\n

The UK round of Maserati\u2019s International Polo Tour saw a thrilling match for the second year running at the Gloucestershire-based Beaufort Polo Club.<\/p>\n

\"\"Playing in the match at the historic British ground was a very special guest; HRH The Duke of Cambridge who played on the Maserati team alongside England International star player, Malcolm Borwick, as well as Bruce Merivale-Austin and Henry Porter. His Royal Highness took part in the game in aid of the charities Child Bereavement UK and Fields in Trust, of which The Duke is Patron.<\/p>\n

Playing on the opposing Dhamani 1969 team was HH The Maharaja of Jaipur, Karan Thapar, Nina Clarkin and Olly Tuthill.<\/p>\n

Today\u2019s victory was secured by Dhamani 1969, whose powerful performance saw a final score of 7-6\u00bd. After an impressive showing, the Maserati Most Valuable Player prize was presented to Henry Porter.<\/p>\n

\"\"The 2017 is the fourth year Maserati and its polo apparel partner, La Martina, have hosted a global polo tour, with the UK match being the third of five matches on the calendar. The 2017 season spans nine months, covering two global continents.<\/p>\n

The Maserati Polo Tour continues on 22 July with the start of the \u201c46\u00b0 Torneo Internacional de Polo\u201d at the Santa Mar\u00eca Polo Club in Sotogrande, Spain.<\/p>\n
