Un buen augurio cuando recibimos un vehículo 2021 es pensar que este año pandémico con el Covid-19 ya se fue. Pero, ánimo, ya hay una esperanza y cual vacuna de salvación, este Mercedes Benz nos viene a avisar que el próximo año está a la vuelta de la esquina y con un modelo 2021 que le hará sentir que vuelve todo lo bueno.
Un modelo de la generación GLE de la marca teutona, el Mercedes Benz AMG GLE Coupe 2021, con 429 caballos de fuerza, 3.0L, seis cilindros, nueve velocidades automáticas y un diseño a prueba del más exigente.
Un motor turbo, que ya nos estamos acostumbrando a ver en esta era automovilística, que como dijimos tiene 429hp por lo que desarrolla un torque máximo de 384 lb-ft. Con un EQ Boost, generando con este sistema 21hp más y 184 lb-ft de torque adicionales. ¿Qué hacer con tanto poder en un cinco puertas familiar, para cinco o más personas? Bueno, yo diría que si no puede correr a mucha velocidad, disfrútelo al máximo y recordará lo que la Mercedes Benz dice en su publicidad “The best or Nothing”. 
Para conducirlo puede optar en colocarlo en modos “Comfort”, “Sport” y Sport+”, adicionando que para conducir, le da opción de colocarlo además en “Trail” o “Sand”. Sumado a esta sofisticada tecnología, tenemos un confortable y amplio panel de instrucciones, visor de comandos para navegación, clima y muchas imágenes que le da la cámara trasera y frontal, para decirle todo lo que debe saber para estacionar, y no tocar nada que dañe su carrocería, con fotos tan nítidas que le otorga un amplio panorama de sus maniobras y su alrededor. Y por supuesto con todas las opciones para escuchar su música favorita o programar sus llamadas frecuentes y poder hablar a manos libres en el camino a casa o al trabajo. Realmente supremo.
Los asientos se adaptan muy bien a su espalda y con el juego de cinturón rojos que le afirma de forma muy segura. En colores puede encontrarlo en Black, Polar White, Obsidian Black metallic, Ididium Silver metallic, Mojave Silver metallic, Lunar Silver metallic, Lunar Blue metallic, Brilliant Blue metallic, Emerald Green metallic, Selenite Grey metallic, Cardinal Red metallic, Diamond White metallic; si le recomiendo consulte a su concesionario por los precios que cada uno podría tener. Asimismo tiene opción de una buena selección de ruedas, que también tiene un valor adicional según la dimensión que elija, si es de 20 pulgadas especial y/o de 21 o 22 pulgadas.

2021 MERCEDES BENZ AMG GLE 53 COUPE
The new Mercedes-AMG GLE Coupe models uniquely combine sporty design with exhilarating performance and high day-to-day usability.
The GLE 53 Coupe is powered by an AMG-enhanced 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with an EQ Boost starter generator. Driving dynamics are further enhanced by the fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive and AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension based on AIRMATIC. The progressive interior design features the latest MBUX infotainment system, including AMG-specific functions and displays.
Powered by a Handcrafted AMG 4.0-liter V8 Biturbo engine, featuring an electrified EQ Boost starter generator, the GLE 63 S Coupe delivers an impressive 603 hp. Dynamic handling is guaranteed thanks to the AMG RIDE CONTROL+ air suspension with AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL roll stabilization, fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive and the AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9-speed automatic transmission.
EQ Boost starter-generator
The EQ Boost starter-generator combines a starter and generator in a powerful electric motor and is fitted between the engine and transmission. This innovation as well as the intelligent charging via an electric auxiliary compressor and an exhaust gas turbocharger all have the same goal: to enhance the hallmark AMG performance and driving dynamics, but also to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. This move has been a successful one: The GLE 53 accelerates from zero to 60 mph in just 5.2 seconds.
The EQ Boost starter generator is a key component of the 48 V system and not only serves as a generator, but is also responsible for hybrid functions. This allows fuel savings that were previously reserved for high-voltage hybrid technology. For the first time, the EQ Boost starter-generator is also responsible for idle speed control.
The hybrid functions include boost with up to an additional 21 hp of output and 184 lb-ft of torque, energy recovery, shifting of the load point, gliding mode and the virtually imperceptible restarting of the engine with the start/stop function.
Because the belt for ancillary components on the front edge of the engine is omitted, the installation length of the new six-cylinder engine is also significantly reduced when compared with conventional six-cylinder engines. This creates space for an exhaust gas aftertreatment system mounted near the engine, which is particularly efficient. The particulate filter is the only part of the emission control system that is under the floor.
A special acoustic experience comes courtesy of the optional, selectable AMG Performance exhaust system. The variable adjustable exhaust flaps provide the option to change the sound of the vehicle at the touch of a button. Depending on the drive program, the sound characteristics change from unobtrusive comfort to maximum dynamic appeal. Mercedes-AMG launches its performance offering for the new GLE generation with the GLE 53. The basis for the signature AMG driving dynamics is provided by the 429 hp 3.0-liter six-cylinder in-line engine, the fully variable all-wheel drive, the agile 9-speed automatic transmission, the AMG-specific drive programs and the AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL based on AIRMATIC with electro-mechanical roll stabilization.
Thanks to the AMG-specific radiator grille with 15 vertical strips, it is immediately obvious that it is part of the AMG family.
